Spain will be hosting Australia tonight in Granada. The Boomers arrived yesterday in Spain after quite a long journey and will face Spain again tomorrow in Málaga. This is the toughest test for the Aussies after its training camp on the Gold Coast. Brett Brown´s squad should struggle today after their arduous journey and with the high temperatures of Granada, a far cry from the wintery conditions they left behind in Australia.
Marc Gasol won´t be able to play tonight as he´s struggling with an ankle injury. I expect both Ibaka and Reyes playing more minutes and that should mean more physical intensity in Spanish frontcourt.
Regarding last summer´s preparatory games between these two teams I expect a lower scoring line with a very physical game in the beginning. The hot and stuffy conditions inside the Arena should affect both teams and slow down the pace.
