Three years after leaving Moscow, the italian head coach comes back to Russia. After his disappointing experience with Real Madrid, Messina has spent this last season as Mike Brown´s assistant coach in LA. Messina has signed a three-year deal so he will have again all the confidence of the Board to build up a great project.
Now, after Kirilenko´s departure to the NBA and Siskauskas retirement, the first concerns are signing a key SF and keeping Nenad Krstic in the team.
Who will be his assistant coaches in this new era in Moscow ? Emanuele Molin ? Room for former CSKA stars such as David Vanterpool or JR Holden?
